I am a researcher and educator in the field of computer science and IT, in particular Internet technologies, mobile and wireless communications, and cyber security. I have published 50+ papers and advised PhD and Masters students in: mobile Internet technologies, sensor networks and the Internet-of-Things, intelligent transportation systems, formal methods, and Internet security and privacy. I have developed and taught subjects on data communications, advanced Internet technologies, mobile/wireless systems, IT security and cryptography; computer programming; and ethical issues in IT. I have a strong interest in Linux and open source technologies for research and teaching in the areas of networking and security, e.g. OpenSSL, tcpdump and Wireshark, VirtualBox, LaTeX, Moodle, iperf, vlc, ...
Students interested in working in the above areas, as PhD, Masters or short-term project, should contact me.
