About Me
With a foundation built on a First-Class Honours B.Sc. degree (2005), my dedicated pursuit of Human Resource Management (HRM) led to an M.B.A. in HRM (2009), completed with three gold medals, and a Ph.D. in HRM from the University of Queensland (2014), which earned the prestigious Dean’s Award for Outstanding Research Higher Degree Thesis.
I draw on two decades of teaching expertise in universities across Sri Lanka and Australia, enriched by two years of practical experience in HRM-related roles within private sector organisations in Sri Lanka and India. My professional background includes a period with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Sri Lanka, where I honed my skills in collaborating with multiple stakeholders on national-level policy planning.
I am currently teaching Human Resource Management at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My research focuses are HRM innovation and regional HRM challenges, in which I actively lead and participate in multiple research projects.
