About Me

Shweta Agarwal is a Lecturer in Accounting and Law in the School of Business and Law at CQ University Australia at Melbourne.

She is a member of Institute of Public Accountants, Institute of Financial Accountants and Associate member of CPA.

Shweta has a vast expertise in teaching diverse courses in Accounting and Law in Australia and Overseas.

Prior to joining CQ University, she worked in a Private TAFE in Melbourne and was mainly responsible for teaching and designing Accounting, Management, Marketing and Law courses.

Shweta has practiced overseas as a Solicitor/Barrister and has been trained as an Internal Auditor in a medium size Accounting Firm.

Professional Experience

I own my small practice as a Solicitor and Barrister for past 15 years overseas mainly practicing Commercial, Company Law and Family Law.

I was a registered Income Tax Practitioner and had worked overseas as a small business tax advisor.

Worked as an owner and Manager of my own Computer Institute for 11 years(1992- 2003). My main duties involved administrative and technical training of computer programming and software for corporate clients and school students.

Worked in Private TAFE at Melbourne for 3 years as a lecturer, tutor and International Student Advisor.

Responsibilities

I am mainly responsible for designing/developing, coordinating, reviewing and delivering of Accounting and Law courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in CQ University.

Also responsible managing teaching team across various campuses of CQ University.

Providing assistance and guidance to students regarding professional bodies.
