About Me
I am the Associate Dean (Sydney) and have been with the university for over 10 years. In my role I balance course coordination and teaching within the School of Business and Law with my academic leadership responsibilities. I love teaching across multiple disciplines including Management, Human Resources Management and Marketing. I have a passion for enabling students to reach their potential and to see the application of powerful ideas in their everyday world. At present I am enjoying the challenge of transitioning from a teaching focused academic career, to an increasing focus on research.

I have an interest in student engagement and the application of expectancy theory to student behaviour and effective intervention of student enablers.
I developed and led a staff development session entitled Facilitating Engagement from the outset. Of particularly interest, covered in the session, was the intrapersonal dimension of engagement within the learner and how it related to the interpersonal dimension of peer and facilitator/enabler.
