Jiaping Wu is a senior lecturer in geography at the School of Education and the Arts since 2010. Prior to coming to CQU, he was a research fellow at the University of Melbourne (2008-2010) and Charles Darwin University (2006-2008).
Jiaping is a human geographer by training. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of South Australia. His research interests have spanned a range of areas in human-environmental relations, from globalization, migration, urbanization, environmental change to sustainable development. Over the last few years he has conducted research on urban development in northern Australia, environmental change and urbanization including migration of indigenous population (ethnic minorities) in China.
I am a human geographer with research interests in urban geography and International development studies.
