Bobby Harreveld is an Emeritus Professor of Central Queensland University. As well as being academic teacher and researcher for the last thirty years, I worked previously as a teacher in schools and TAFE. With colleagues, I've undertaken 38 externally funded research projects; with books, book chapters, and journal articles produced from that work and projects with my research students and fellow supervisors. To date, and again with supervisory colleagues, I've completed 38 higher degree by research supervisions (30 doctoral theses & 8 masters); and am currently supervising 12 research candidates (11 doctoral and 1 masters).
As a researcher and teacher, my interests include: socio-cultural understandings of education in diverse contexts; research education and ethics (politics, theory, practice); professional and vocational education and employment transition pathways; distance, open, and online teaching and learning.
