About Me

Dr. Md Ohirul Qays is a Research Officer in the SMART Grid Research Group within the School of Engineering and Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, at CQUniversity, Gladstone Marina, Australia. His primary research activities focus on grid resilience, system strength enhancement, battery management systems, state-of-charge estimation, renewable energy integration, machine learning algorithms, optimization techniques, and related areas. Dr. Qays has extensive experience with advanced analytical and simulation tools, including PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB/Simulink, PLC, SCADA, Python, C/C++, and other relevant platforms. He also serves as a regular reviewer for several leading international journals and conferences published by IEEE, Elsevier, and MDPI.
