About Me

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business & Law at CQU Melbourne Campus, with more than twenty years of academic experience including teaching, research and program management and coordination at tertiary levels in leading business schools in the UK, Australia, UAE and India.  I completed my PhD from RMIT University, Melbourne (2014), and hold MBA and Master of Commerce degrees.

I have taught a variety of HRM/Management courses (For example Organisation Behaviour, Leadership, Managing Change, Strategic/Human Resource Management, Organisation Change and Management, Organisation Development, and Talent Management at undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. I have got extensive exposure to executive education (MBA Program) in the online distance learning mode.

I have published my research in reputed high-ranked journals such as Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Technological Forecasting and Change, Personnel Review, International Journal of Manpower, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, Journal of Knowledge Management and Education+Training. My major areas of research interest are AI-augmented management/HRM, Business Model Innovation, Responsible AI, Future of Work & its Implications for Management, Graduate Work-Readiness, Leadership, and IHRM in Developing & Emerging Markets.

In addition to quality research publications, I have edited two books (Springer & Routledge), and I have a successful record of securing internal and external multidisciplinary research funding through national and international collaborations across Australia, UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Middle-East countries. To date, I have been able to successfully attract funding of $1.35,0000  from various research institutions and bodies. For example, I was the Co-Investigator in a funded project ($80000), which was undertaken in partnership between RMIT and Curtin Universities (2015-2017), sponsored by the Asia Business Centre at Curtin University. I received a research grant of $35000 under the Army Research Grant scheme for investigating challenges faced by military personnel for transitioning to civilian employment in the wake of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (2018-2019). I was also a co-investigator for a grant of $10000 for an RMIT university project titled -  The Fourth Industrial Revolution & the Future Workforce: Implications for HRM. I was also granted internal funding from CardiffMET Global Academies (£2500) as a founder member for the launch of 'Hub for Distributed Technologies and Future Societies' at CardiffMet. I was also selected as a participant in UK Economy Crucible 2020, which enables the facilitation of innovative interdisciplinary projects within Wales. Most recently (Sept 2023), I was the main applicant for a successful grant of AED100, 000 for International Faculty Program Grant of Ministry of Education, UAE , for running a joint course on HR Analytics with Cambridge University at University of Wollongong, Dubai.
