About Me

Dr Olabode (Bode) Ogunmakinde is a highly dedicated and accomplished academic in Construction Management with over 11 years of teaching and research experience. He has a demonstrated expertise in delivering engaging lectures and facilitating students’ hands-on learning experiences. Bode also possesses a proven track record of effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, while fostering an inclusive and interactive classroom environment.

As an award-winning researcher, Bode has extensive research background in construction management, with a focus on sustainable & smart construction, circular economy, sustainable development goals, construction waste management, and disaster management. He has several peer-reviewed articles published in high-impact journals and has presented his research at both national and international conferences.

Bode is committed to staying current with industry trends and incorporating them into curriculum development. He is skilled in mentoring and advising students, guiding them towards successful career paths in the construction industry.
