Dr Ashkan Memari is a lecturer and researcher with an international profile working across various countries such as Iran, Malaysia and Australia. Having spent several years teaching in various private and public universities, Ashkan taught to a diverse range of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Ashkan’s scholarly articles mostly appear in well-known Q1 ISI Web of Science International Journals such as Computers & Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, etc. He has published more than 20 articles in reputed journals and International Conferences, where they have been cited more than 1000 times in various research papers. His research interests lie at the intersection of Sustainable Operations Management, Project Management, Optimisation and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Techniques.
Dr Ashkan Memari received his PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with a specialisation in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. Following his doctoral studies, he continued his research as a Postdoctoral Researcher and then moved on to a lecturer position in various universities. Ashkan has taught at the tertiary level in both engineering and management courses at research-intensive and teaching-focused institutions. Ashkan has successfully supervised more than 20 undergraduate research projects, Master theses and PhD dissertations.
