A casual lecturer at CQU, Dr Bruce Johnstone is also an Accredited Finance Broker at Adobi Mortgage Solutions.
As an academic he specialises in Business Growth and lectures in Management, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Design Thinking and Research Methods.
His credentials include a PhD in Entrepreneurship, MBA from Henley Business School UK, and CIMA Adv.Dip. Management Accounting. Bruce is an Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.

Background

Bruce Johnstone's experience includes five years in the United Kingdom.  During this time he was a Regional Manager at Grant Thornton, London, leading a team of managers to deliver Growth Accelerator, a government-funded service for High Growth Businesses.

Bruce also has had the experience of founding a commercial radio broadcasting business in New Zealand, growing it over many years and finally exiting in a successful trade sale to a multi-national.  During this time he won five New Zealand Radio Awards.
