About Me

I received the B.Sc. Eng. (hons.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in 1999 and the Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from Monash University Australia in 2007.

Currently, I am working as a Lecturer-ICT at School of Engineering & Technology, CQUniversity Melbourne. Prior to this, I worked in various roles at CQUniversity such as Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Adjunct Research Fellow, Sessional Academic, Learning Advisor, and Statistical Support Officer.

Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in a CRC funded project named
Multi-channel Content Delivery and Mobile Personalisation. I received QUT Faculty of Science and Technology Excellence in Teaching (Team) award for outstanding teaching performance.


My areas of research interest include data science, business intelligence,
cyber security, ecology, and smart farming. I have published 4 book chapters, and 26 refereed papers that include high impact journal articles and conference papers.

My subjects of interest for teaching are data science,
Big Data, information security, computer programming, software engineering, business process management, business analysis, and project management, .

General
Background
