Natalie Ewin has extensive experience in portfolio, program and project analysis and management. Natalie is passionate about sharing her expertise through the education of students, graduates, project management professionals and executives. Natalie supports organisations in identifying and implementing opportunities to maximise value through enhanced management of portfolios of change. As the head of a Portfolio, Program and Project office, Natalie was instrumental in her organisation achieving the highest independently assessed P3M3 maturity rating known in Australia at the time. She has held a number of governance positions in the not-for-profit sector, and enjoys supporting their P3M3 capability to enhance the realisation of positive social impacts.
Natalie has driven improvements in portfolio, program and project management, utilising inclusive pedagogy for adult learners and internationally proven tools and techniques, including those advocated in the Project Management Body of Knowledge, Management of Portfolios (MoP), Managing Successful Programs (MSP), Projects in a Controlled Environment (Prince2) and agile methodologies, to ensure value maximisation is sustained.

Natalie was invited by the Australian Institute of Project Management to sit on the fourth Annual National Conference Roundtable of which attendance is limited to ten project management experts. Facilitated by Nate Cochrine highlights were published in a special edition of ‘Project Manager’ Journal Dec 2017-March 2018.
Apart from her work with the School of Engineering and Technology, CQUniversity, Natalie has also worked with Queensland University, Bachelor of Technology Innovation students, specifically in the area of Design Thinking.
Natalie Ewin has worked on projects, programs and portfolios in diverse fields highlighting the transferability of project management skills across sectors. Apart from her role as a senior lecturer her she continues to engage with industry and provide assistance to the not-for-profit sector. She has worked with C-Level executives including advising a Director General (CEO) on the development and implementation of a Transformational Change Model for a significant sector wide transformation. She has worked on legislative and policy projects, including Right to Information, and statutory delegations projects for large State Government departments and managed projects related to mergers and workplace reform, including Machinery of Government changes (MoGs). Other projects include the management of internal audit reviews, official misconduct investigations and criminal justice related projects. She specialises in project rescue, business case development and risk analysis. Her earlier research projects were based in the field of biomedical science, including forensics, asthma and communicable diseases.
