About Me
Ann Quinton is an accredited Medical Sonographer with a PhD. Ann has experience in and a passion for teaching fetal echocardiography, obstetric ultrasound, clinical sonography skills and research skills. She is also passionate about research and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
General
Background
Ann has worked at CQUniversity since August 2015 as an Associate Professor in Medical Sonography and was Head of Course from 2015-2018. Ann also has an honorary Associate Professor position with the University of Sydney. Ann has worked at NSW Health as a Medical Sonographer and researcher and continues to work there part time where she is involved in research activities and teaching clinical ultrasound skills.

Responsibilities
Ann is unit coordinator for MEDS21003 Medical Science Research Project 1 and MEDS21006 Medical Science Research Project 2 (in 2019). She is also unit coordinator for ECHO20003 Fetal Echocardiography. Ann is acting Head of Course for Postgraduate Ultrasound at CQUniversity.
