About Me
I am a practicing marketer specializing in Marketing Communications. Having worked extensively in the banking and financial services industries, I have held senior management responsibilities for product management, marketing communications, sales and distribution, and overall organizational strategy.
At CQU, I teach Marketing and Management subjects, with MRKT20052 (Marketing management and digital marketing) and MGMT20140 (Design Thinking for Managers) as my core units.
I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Newcastle. My research thesis involves researching consumer behavior amongst Australian ethnic minority communities.
I am also an accomplished wildlife photographer.

A significant part of my career was in the banking and financial services industry in Sri Lanka, In various roles, I have held senior-level responsibilities in Marketing, product management, and general management.
I also co-founded and manage a boutique animations agency based in Sydney.
