Dr. Nazia Nabi is a Lecturer at the Department of Management, Marketing and Tourism of the Central Queensland University. She holds a PhD in Marketing from Macquarie University, Sydney Australia. Nazia has taught and convened several Marketing units at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Macquarie University, Western Sydney University, the University of Tasmania and in Bangladesh. She also worked as Marketing Executive at Square Toiletries Ltd. Bangladesh. Her research interests include Consumer Behaviour, Service Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism marketing, Cross-Cultural Marketing, and Product and Brand Management among others. Nazia has published seven journal articles including two in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services ranked A in the ABDC list. She has also presented her works at Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference (ANZMAC) and Graduate Research Conference organised by University of Tasmania. Additionally, Nazia serves as a reviewer for the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics (APJML) and Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference (ANZMAC). She has also been awarded the title of Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre scholar based on her sustained commitment to deliver research outcomes that have a clear benefit to industry in Australia, and add to global knowledge for the benefit of future generations of researchers and policy makers.
