About Me

Dr. Meiru Che received her PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, in 2014. Her research interests lie in software engineering, mobile software systems, and artificial intelligence. Before she joined Central Queensland University, she was a research scientist with Data61, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia, from 2022 to 2023. She was an assistant professor from 2017 to 2019 and then an adjunct professor from 2019 to 2021 with the Department of Computer Science at Concordia University Texas, and was a lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin from 2015 to 2017.
