About Me

I research at the intersection of law, history, governance and society. My research explores how legal principles shape democratic accountability and public institutions, focusing on the limitations of the law in operation. My work connects historical insight with contemporary debates about transparency, executive power and democratic governance.

I bring a combination of academic rigor and practical legal experience to my teaching and research. My teaching is informed by my previous experience in both the public and private sectors as a lawyer and project manager, providing students and collaborators a grounded perspective on how law operates in practice.

My research and publications span constitutional law, property law, regulatory accountability, and disability law, reflecting a commitment to exploring the ways law intersects with other disciplines and impacts people’s lives.

I am passionate about bridging theory and practice, helping students, policymakers, and the public understand complex legal issues in ways that are meaningful, actionable and relevant to society today.
