I completed my PhD in Education at Faculty of Education, Monash University in 2020, where I also completed my Master of Education (TESOL) in 2012. 

I completed my Undergraduate Degree in Teacher Education at Vinh University, Vietnam in 2007. 

I worked in Vietnam National University of Agriculture as a lecturer of English for eight years prior to coming to Australia. In addition to my part-time position as an Associate Lecturer at CQ University, I have been working as a Teaching and Research Associate at Faculty of Education, Monash University and The University of Melbourne. 

I was awarded the Melbourne Graduate School of Education Award for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching Indigenous Perspectives in 2022.

I also received the prestigious Endeavour PhD Scholarship given by the Australian Government, Department of Education. 

 I have prepared teaching materials and delivered tutorials for Master of Teaching and Master of Education subjects, including EDUC90930 Local Literacy in Global Contexts, EDUC91047 First Nations in Education, EDUC90109 Curriculum Design in a Multilingual Era, EDUC 90101 Multilingual Practices in Global Times,  EDUC91151 Engaging and Assessing Learners (Secondary), EDF5611 Investigating Education Issues in Gobal Contexts, EDF5640 Language, Culture and Curriculum, EDF5634 Language and Education and EDF5629 Critical Issues in English Education for Faculty of Education, The University of Melbourne and Monash University.  

I have been the member of AERA (American Educational Research Association) and AARE (Australian Association Research in Education).
