About Me

Gemma Mann has worked in Higher Education for 12 years, initially employed in 2008 as the Coordinator, First Year Experience in the Student Support Centre.  Gemma's present role is as a lecturer within CQUniversity's Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies Course (STEPS) and academic advisor with the Academic Learning Centre (ALC), both in the areas of mathematics and physical sciences.

Background

Prior to commencing at CQUniversity, Gemma completed a PhD in Engineering, and subsequently was a research assistant in Engineering Education at Purdue University, IN, USA.
