About Me
Dr Darren Walker is an applied cognitive neuroscientist with a particular interest in translating theoretical insights from memory, attention and perception into creative, practical and commercial applications for health and clinical psychology.
He has collaborated across disciplines with researchers in art, product design and biomedicine, achieving significant research grant success. His work has been disseminated in journals, books, creative anthologies along with national and international conferences.
He is passionate about teaching the next generation of scholars, regardless of their background and prior educational experiences. He has taught across most areas of the psychology undergraduate curriculum, using both face-to-face and on-line methods. He teaches research design and statistics to postgraduate level.
He is an Australian and British citizen with extensive experience of overseas educational partnerships.
