About Me

I am a research fellow at CQU's Appleton Institute and undertake human factors and organisational psychology oriented research, mainly in the emergency management sector. My research largely focuses on teamwork, decision making, and developing expertise through the use of simulation, coaching, and mentoring. My current Natural Hazards Research Australia supported work investigates decision making in emergency management. My early working days spent in the forestry sector helped shaped my interests in teams, decision making, occupational health and safety, and bushfire management.
