Originally from the NSW, Central Coast, I have grown up with a passion for all things sport. As a result I have always wanted to be involved in sport as an athlete, or working in a role related to improving sport performance. My professional career commenced at The University of Newcastle where I first completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours). Following this, my research lead me to complete a PhD, which focused on the physical and decision making demands of team sports officials.
My work has taken me from Newcastle, to Melbourne (Vic) and now Mackay in Central Queensland. My research interests include the physical and decision making performance of team sport officials with a focus on improving decision making performance. Other interests include, monitoring of performance, skill and fitness assessment in athletes across various team sports.
In my spare time you can find me either running, at the beach, spending time with my family or watching the AFL!
