About Me

I am currently the Director, Marketing for the University.

In this role I have overall responsibility for the planning, implementation and measurement of our national (onshore) marketing function including:

  • Developing  and  implementing  marketing  plans  and  strategies  based  on  the  University’s Strategic Plan
    Managing the operations of the Marketing Directorate including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Leading  domestic  market  research  activities  to  align  target  market  and  CQUniversity program portfolios, providing strategic advice in the development and implementation of new product offerings for the University
  • Maintaining brand integrity including brand promise, brand values and brand identity for CQUniversity products and services, and building internal brand ownership and external brand awareness to reinforce the customer experience
  • Leading  and  consulting  with  University  stakeholders  on  the  development  of  domestic student recruitment marketing, reputation marketing and related strategies as well as whole- of-University marketing services, including Executive, Deans, Directors, Heads of Campus (regional) and Campus Directors (metropolitan)
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.  Assisting in the University’s response to reputation issues and incidents in terms of the University’s exposure. Performing spokesperson roles as required
  • Consulting    with   University    stakeholders    regarding    brand   integrity    on   University-community events (such as graduations, fairs, conferences, social and corporate events)
  • Leading and developing a professional University marketing team (26 staff, across 6 campuses  and 1 study centre)
  • Leading production and delivery of print and electronic marketing and corporate material to the University (and its subsidiaries)
