About Me

Dr Lastella is a sleep researcher at the Appleton Institute for Behavioural Science at CQUniversity Adelaide. His primary area of expertise is sleep, recovery, sexual activity, sport psychology, Esports and athletic performance. Michele has taught various psychology courses including Research Methods, Personality and Applied Sports Psychology. He has published over 30 peer reviewed publications, currently supervisors 6 RHD students and has presented at numerous domestic and international conferences. Being a former elite athlete Dr Lastella brings experience from both an athlete and researcher perspective. He continues to work with several professional sporting organisations.
