Dr Kianoush Emami received the Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in power system from the University of Western Australia, Crawley, Australia, in 2016. He joined the College of Engineering and Aviation at the Central Queensland University in 2016, where he is currently a Lecturer. Dr Emami was a Professional Engineer in various EPC projects including Mining, Oil & Gas, and Power System as an EI&C and a Power Engineer. Dr. Kianoush Emami is an expert in Power Systems Dynamics, Smart Grid/Energy Systems, Load Forecasting and application of Machine Learning Techniques in Power Systems and Renewable Energy Sources. Dr. Kianoush Emami has a strong track record of undertaking and supervising projects dealing with fundamental and applied research in the area of Power Systems/Micro Grid Modelling, Micro Grid Energy Management Systems including Solar Energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Wind Energy. His research and expertise include the research in sustainable energy systems and climate change by reducing carbon emissions. Dr Kianoush Emami is a chartered Member of Institution of Engineers Australia and a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
