About Me

I am a lecturer in education based at the Bundaberg campus coordinating and teaching units in Humanities and Social Sciences in the Bachelor of Education and Master of Teaching courses. I have a passion for and expertise in the fields of global citizenship and global competence, active citizenship, adolescent citizenship and student voice. My research focus is on empirical, action research designed to understand and improve educators' interpretation and implementation of curricula, pedagogies and whole of school approaches to fostering active and global citizenship and the knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and actions of global competence.
