About Me

Adeniyi (Ade) Adeleye is a critical care nurse who is an experienced nursing academic. He completed his PhD in Nursing in March 2026. Ade began his academic career as an adjunct academic at Griffith University and has been teaching in higher education since 2015. Ade has been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) since 2021, demonstrating his commitment to supportive learning and teaching environments at CQUniversity and beyond. Ade immigrated from Nigeria following his initial nursing registration. Before teaching in higher education, Ade worked in various clinical roles overseas and in Australia, including the emergency department, ICU, HDU, CCU, and other acute care areas, and served as a rural and remote nurse educator. Ade's last clinical role was as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the Medical Assessment Unit at Gold Coast University Hospital.
