About Me

Bianca is a Lecturer in the School of Access Education. Having taught and conducted research in Australia, Vietnam, and Argentina, her research interests include vocabulary development, academic literacy, and the use of GenAI in tertiary education. Her work bridges research and classroom practice, translating evidence from applied linguistics into practical teaching and curriculum design strategies that support students’ academic success.

General

Background

Bianca completed a PhD in Education from the University of Wollongong, specialising in the pedagogy of productive oral vocabulary development. In addition to her academic roles, Bianca has also worked extensively as a Senior Learning Designer and has been actively involved in the development of various educational programs. She has extensive experience in curriculum design, learning innovation, and digital education; having worked with leading Australian universities, including the University of Queensland, University of Melbourne, University of Wollongong, and UNSW.
