Mai Nguyen is the lecturer in Accounting at the College of Business, School of Business and Law, CQ University Melbourne campus. Prior to joining the CQ University in Feb 2024, Mai completed her PhD at Macquarie University in 2017, and then was the lecturer in Accounting at the University of Tasmania. She is also a member of CA ANZ.
Mai has extensive teaching experience in a range of courses/ units including financial accounting, management accounting, financial management and financial risk management, to name a few. Mai's research interests are in the areas of corporate governance particularly auditing and independent directors, CSR, climate accounting, accountability and Non-for-profit organizations. She has published in high quality academic journals, including Accounting & Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Pacific Accounting Review and Asian Review of Accounting.
