Thao Phuong Trinh received her Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (First Class Honours) from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia, in 2007, and her PhD in Business Information Systems from RMIT University, Australia, in 2012, supported by the Endeavour Australian Government Scholarship. Her doctoral research on enterprise systems and organizational agility was awarded the ACPHIS Medal for the Best Australian PhD Thesis in Information Systems and the RMIT Excellent Doctoral Research Prize.
She has held academic and research roles at RMIT University and has prior industry experience as an SAP ERP and CRM consultant on international projects. Dr Thao Trinh joined Central Queensland University in 2018 and is currently a Lecturer in Project Management in the College of Project Management, Built Environment, Asset & Maintenance Management, within the School of Engineering and Technology at Central Queensland University, Australia. In recognition of her teaching excellence, she received CQU’s Student Voice Commendation 2019 (On-Campus Educator of the Year) and CQU’s Student Voice Commendation 2019 (Educator of the Year). Her research focuses on the strategic management of information systems, including digital transformation, enterprise systems, supply chain sustainability, and the adoption of generative AI technologies.
