Julie Nguyen is a lecturer in Podiatry at CQUniversity (Rockhampton). She has a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne. She has extensive clinical experience and has worked in both the public and private sector. Prior to commencing at CQUniversity, she worked in the acute care setting as part of the Allied Health Team and Diabetes Foot Service Team at an acute tertiary teaching hospital. She has also worked as the Lead Project Officer in numerous public affairs, health promotion and healthcare projects including the Department of Health and Human Services funded project, HealthLinks, which aims to reduce readmissions in Emergency Departments in Victoria. She is currently a committee member of the Advanced Practicing Podiatry High Risk Foot Group (APP HRF) and CQUniversity Human Research Ethics Committee.
