Professor Colin Greensill has occupied the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology position since the beginning of 2015. During this time the School has expanded it’s educational offerings in Queensland to all four years of the Engineering program in Bundaberg, Gladstone and Mackay and has opened also begun the delivery of Engineering and Information Technology programs in Townsville and Cairns. In 2016 the School also began offering the Masters of Engineering in Rockhampton and Melbourne and the Masters in Project in Rockhampton, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
In 2010 Col was appointed as Director of the Pathways projects operating from CQUniversity’s Mackay and Gladstone campuses. The primary aim of the Pathways projects is to ensure, and where necessary develop, clear and readily accessible lifelong learning pathways from school, to employment and across all sectors of tertiary education and training.
He was one of the founding researchers of the Process and Light Metals Centre in Gladstone. His primary research interests are process control, advanced sensors, chemometrics and safety culture modelling.
