Shannon Connor has worked at CQUniversity in various roles for the past 22 years. After completing a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies in 1999, she worked in the Community Relations sector for both public and private organisations with an emphasis on media relations. In 2001, Shannon returned to CQUniversity to join the staff as the Community Relations Officer for the Gladstone Campus. In this role, Shannon worked with both current and potential CQUniversity students and members of the Gladstone community. In 2020 Shannon joined the STEPS team as the coordinator of the STEPS HEPPP initiative. In this role, she supports online STEPS students who face unique and individual challenges located in regional and rural areas of Australia.
