I teach in the School of Access Education and work with students enrolled in the Enabling program, STEPS and with undergraduate students supporting them through my work with the Academic Learning Centre where I am a mathematics and statistics advisor.
My academic background is in commerce and mathematics and statistics.
I received an OPAL AWARD in 2010 for Excellence in Engagement. The award recognizes Engaged Community Service and "celebrates those who build relationships that support the development of sustainable communities and an equally sustainable CQUniversity". Other award-winning team members were Dr Rosie Thrupp, and Dr Wendy Fasso.
I have taught at CQUni for over 35 years across a number of faculties, schools and divisions.
I am a current member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders and a current member of The National Association of Enabling Educators Australia.
