About Me

General

Background

I grew up in Rockhampton and attended Berserker Primary School and North Rockhampton State High School.

I moved to Brisbane to study to become a Health and Physical Education Teacher.

I taught for 5 years in North Brisbane, Woodford, Kilcoy and Yarrabah Aboriginal Community and also completed a Graduate Diploma of Indigenous Education.

I then returned to university to do the Undergraduate Speech Pathology Program at UQ with Honors in Audiology.

I have been a practicing Speech Pathologist for the last 28 years. I have worked in the Northern Territory, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast.

I moved back to Rockhampton in 2015 for a career change.
