I have been involved in University education for just over 30 years and the major focus over this period has been on management and leadership and in particular examining the application of business ethics to management and organisational practice. As you will see from m research and Expertise sections, I have undertaken research into areas such as corporate social responsibility, ethical leadership and bribery and corruption and was able to relate this information back to the business community during my appointment as Ethics and Integrity specialist for KPMG and later McGrath Nicol. I have also examined netter practices in education and the use of socratic method, reflective practice and simulations as a way of enhancing managerial competence.
On a personal level I have lived in Melbourne Victoria for most of my adult life but have spent a lot of time in Sydney in addition to working overseas in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and China. I am an avid snow skier and enjoy "progressive rock" of the 1970s and jazz.
