I have worked with the University since 2005 in administrative support roles covering different discipline areas from Engineering, Health, Medical and Sciences.
The majority of my years working have been applied to supporting the above discipline groups in conducting procedural operations to meet university deadlines within the scope of associated policies. The activities have varied covering finance, timetabling, meeting secretarial roles, industry accreditation applications, sessional staffing and grades processing.
My personal interests extend to enjoying the outdoors and anything beach related, bike riding, tennis, and generally being able to stay active and healthy.
I have been able to develop strong connections throughout the university and maintain a robust communication network for information exchange and mentoring.
The networks I have developed within both Sonography and Echocardiography disciplines have extended further into both industries providing reciprocating staffing opportunities.
My experiences since 2020 in this new role have been and continue to be very rewarding.
2013 EXCEL Finalist - Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence to Professional Staff
I have acquired a broad range of experience and skills covering areas, but not limited to:
Since January 2020, my responsibilities have migrated to a new role aligned with Sonography and Echocardiography coordinating sessional staff engaged in teaching students within the laboratory environment. The nation wide footprint covers four campuses for Sonography and two for Echocardiography and involves coordinating approximately 100 sessional staff at any given point in a term. My role extends into other procedural facets for both disciplines and to a certain extent, acts as a conduit to further enhance the connection and engagement with both industries and their professionals.
