Dr F. D. Baffour is a criminal justice social worker and a senior lecturer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Sciences at Central Queensland University, Australia.
Holding a PhD in criminal justice social work, Dr Baffour has received prestigious awards including the James Cook University Excellence Doctoral Research Thesis Medal, and passed his PhD thesis with cum laude (rated within the top 5% of PhD candidates worldwide).
Dr Baffour’s work has been published in high-profile peer-reviewed journals, including the British Journal of Social Work, Criminal Justice and Behavior, International Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Crime & Delinquency, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, International Journal of Social Psychiatry, Victims and Offenders, Criminal Justice Review, and others.
Dr Baffour's current projects are exploring the collateral consequences of imprisonment on professional membership and housing in Australia, as well as perpetrator allyship.
