Kirsty Abbott LLB (Hons), B Int Bus (Griffith University), MTAX (UNSW), PhD Candidate (QUT)
Kirsty Abbott is an Associate Lecturer at Central Queensland University. She currently teaches taxation law at a undergraduate and post graduate level. Before joining CQU, Kirsty worked for a number of years for the Australian Taxation Office in both compliance and law interpretation roles.
Her PhD topic investigates the application of procedural justice in the context of the use of machine learning technology in Australian government decision making. Kirsty has previously published in the area of tax morale and its impact on compliance with the Australian taxation system.
