About Me

Christina has extensive experience at CQUniversity in learning and teaching environments, including roles across Learning and Teaching Futures, academic policy, and student pathways. Her work has involved contributing to curriculum and assessment design, academic quality processes, and institutional strategy implementation. She holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, informing her student-centred and assessment-aligned approach to teaching. Her interests lie at the intersection of creative practice and learning, with a focus on supporting students to develop voice, ethical awareness, and reflective writing practices.

As well, Christina is an emerging researcher in creative writing and scholarship of learning and teaching. Christina's master’s research project interrogated the ethical responsibility of the editor in minimising the potential harm of creative nonfiction that contains problematic or distressing material. Her scholarly work includes a peer-reviewed publication in TEXT: Journal of Writing and Writing Courses, which was highly commended for the 2025 Nigel Krauth Prize based on relevance, style and readability, quality of research/innovation/analysis, and potential impact or contribution to the discipline.
