My name is Nicole and I am a proud Wakka Wakka and Gamilaraay woman. I am a young person striving to develop a career in health research and to extend my knowledge and experience within this space.
General
Background
I am a passionate and dedicated individual who has joined the healthcare industry through nursing. Having successfully completed a Diploma of Nursing, I have spent three years as a general practice nurse through Covid which highlights my resilience and dedication. During this time, my journey in the healthcare profession has fueled a profound commitment to promoting Indigenous health, patient advocacy, and enhancing health education and literacy. I am eager to embark on a path of continuous growth in both health and research.
Universities Studied At
I am currently studying at the Queensland University of Technology, completing a Bachelor of Public Health on track to graduate in 2024.
