I am currently an Associate Lecturer with the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences, Central Queensland University, Townsville. Prior to my appointment I worked as a senior midwifery clinician in Townsville and have experience and qualifications in Intensive Care, Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care, Disaster Management and fulfilling academic roles.
I have significant experience in clinical skills training, risk management, implementing change in clinical practice, educating, guiding the development of student nurses and midwives.
I am an accomplished senior clinician with extensive experience in acute and specialised healthcare. I also have significant experience in working within disaster management teams providing healthcare resources to affected areas around North Queensland.
