About Me
Jolandi is a sports enthusiast who turned her passion into a professional career. She works as a sports physiotherapist and consults with male and female athletes from amateur to elite levels. Jolandi has worked with several elite cricket teams such as the South African Girls U19, Cricket South Africa's male and female elite fast bowling group, Titans Women's Cricket Team, the University of Stellenbosch First XI male cricket team and many more. Jolandi has completed several courses as a physiotherapist, such as dry needling, sports taping, injury management, and advanced sports rehabilitation. She completed her Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2021. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Sports Physiotherapy. Her research focuses on factors associated with performance and injury in women's cricket and fast bowling biomechanics. Jolandi is also a musculoskeletal lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students. Her research aims to bridge the gap between male and female sports and give all athletes equal opportunities to achieve success.
