Rebecca is an experienced accredited medical sonographer of 25 years working in a variety of public and private settings. After graduating, she began her career as a radiographer in a major teaching hospital which provided a foundation in the medical imaging space and where she developed a keen interest in the ultrasound field. Having spent more than 10 years in a major teaching hospital she has always been actively involved in the training of students and registrars. She has been trained in multiple areas including general, small parts, breast, paediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Working in a hospital setting has also allowed her exposure to emergency and trauma experience in both the radiography and sonography fields by being involved in the on call rotation. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) along with a Graduate Diploma of Applied Science (Medical Ultrasound) from The University of Sydney. She is currently working towards completing her Graduate Certificate in Adult Education and Learning.
