Learning Design and Innovation Directorate
As the LMS Support Officer, in Learning Design and Innovation, I specialise in assisting staff to ultilise the University's Learning Management System, which is Moodle, and other associated education technologies, such as ECHO360 and Zoom. In LDI, I work along side a team of educational specialists on the CQURenew project. I provide academics with advice, guidance and assistance in designing and developing engaging Moodle units. Additionally, I also troubleshoot and problem solve issues that staff may be having with the LMS, and create Moodle help resources for both staff and students.
Background
I have worked at CQUniversity for 14 years, and have fulfilled a number of roles throughout this time, including copy editor, video production assistant, desktop publisher, and my current role of learning management system specialist.
