About Me

Born and raised on Darumbal country (Rockhampton), married to Troy White and two sons, Javarn and Jaymzhi.  Myma to five grandchildren, Anaya, Mila, LaRaeah, Alisiah and Prince. 

Currently the First Nations Employment Officer for CQUni after many years in the Queensland Government, working in Child Safety, Communities and Employment and Training.

Background

Proud descendant of the Gimuy Walubarra Yidinji peoples of North Queensland, with family connections to Mer Island in the Torres Strait Islanders and a proud Australian South Sea Islander.

Currently enrolled in CC43  - Bachelor of Psychological Science at Central Queensland University.

Responsibilities

First Nations Workforce Strategy:  Partner with our various business units to develop recruitment strategies targeted at improving the overall employment rate of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within CQUniversity. This includes providing an exceptional end to end recruitment experience.
