As Senior Research Officer and Project Manager of the Hydrogen Community Information Centre, Dr. Devney works closely with industry stakeholders, community groups, schools and government to deliver the Hydrogen Community Hub project. She collaborates on the design and execution of research projects that explore the socio-economic impacts of hydrogen adoption, including social licence, education and workforce development. By building sustainable and positive relationships with industry representatives, small to medium enterprises, First Nations people and organisations, local and state governments, schools and the community, Dr. Devney has led and supported productive initiatives to drive education, training and economic growth in the Central Queensland region.
Dr. Devney also led the design, development and implementation of hydrogen-focused STEM online learning resources for secondary students: https://www.cqu.edu.au/study/high-school-students/high-school-student-events-and-activities/fuelling-a-hydrogen-future-stem-skills. She also project manages the CQ Hydrogen Grand Prix program.
