Arif Zamhari, MA, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Postgraduate School of State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia. He is also serves as Adjunct Associate Professor from Central Queensland University, Australia. His research interests include Islamic studies, Anthropology of religion, Islamic Education, Islamic Ritual. He has written some articles in international journals and national journals. He has presented research papers at at international conferences in both Indonesia and overseas. He is currently the coordinator of Program Manager Unit of 5000 Doctor Scholarship The Ministry of Religious Affairs the Republic of Indonesia. He is now the director of Islamic Boarding School Al-Hikam, Depok West Java.
