In 2021 I commenced with CQUni as an Administration Trainee undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration on the Darumbal (Rockhampton Campus) and I’ve never left!  

Completing my traineeship while working in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor taught me so much which I was so glad I got to experience that.  Since my graduation in December 2021, I’ve held a variety of long and short-term contracts in various divisions including VET, research, and student success prior to joining the Office of Indigenous Engagement as Operations Officer in September 2023.

Thanks to the contract roles I’ve been exposed to so many of the behind-the-scenes systems and areas that make the university tick. I particularly enjoy working in a team environment discovering new skills whilst applying previously learnt skills.
